There’s a BMX track in Sheepcote Valley. The track was used for the UCI BMX World Championships in 1996. You can see a clip here. The track is between Whitehawk and Woodingdean, and accessible via a turning off Wilson Avenue. Fungus grows out of buried wood, and dense, thorny bushes lie low to the ground.

Photo Fringe 2020 is coming to an end for this year. So much beautiful and interesting work, both in galleries and online. My contribution, ‘A Temporary Quiet‘, came about due to my experiences of walking through green spaces—experiences amplified by the events of 2020.
On these daily walks during the pandemic I have felt like we are another kind of wildlife—cautiously circling each other.
